First, we are excited to welcome EYESHINE to our lineup of Musical Guests! Eyeshine is a three piece edge rock band currently emerging as one of the most promising unsigned groups out of California. With infectious lyrics from front-man/voice actor, Johnny Yong Bosch, Eyeshine is geared to deliver one of the most powerful shows at MTAC Infinity! Next on our list of cool news is this year's limited edition souvenir tee shirt! We will be producing limited quantities of these, so you will want to get your hands on one quick! Take a sneak peek at the back of it, graced with our damsel-in-distress Kaiju Con Kitty: This shirt will also feature sleeve and front artwork, and it will be available in black as well as a trendy dark green ringer tee! Get your hands on one at the MTAC Store during the con, right next to registration! Many thanks to our Artist Guest of Honor Doug Smith for contributing the artwork of the Con Kitty, used in this year's merchandise! Also on tap in the MTAC Store will be a baby tee, hoodie, NEW long sleeve MTAC tee, and our ALL NEW MTAC shorties... for those who want to be as intimate with their love of the con as possible. Couple these items with a new lanyard, bumper stickers, our traditional limited edition dog tags and more... and you've got an impressive array of MTAC gear on tap! Last, but not least, you may have noticed that our schedule is out. You can download it in PDF form right here. We hope this will let you figure out your game plan for the con. Greg is already a member of the MTAC family but we are happy to see him returning to the show after the last time he joined us in 2006! Beck fans - you better bring your boxsets! Fun Time Goodies - February 14, 2008
We all know you guys love MTAC. So how about showing off that love by volunteering? This crazy contraption of a convention manages to function almost entirely thanks to the volunteers that show up and donate their time and effort to the convention. Volunteering is simple and it gets you into MTAC for free! To volunteer you must attend two required volunteer meetings. The last two meetings of the year are coming up soon, February 24th and March 16th! If you have any questions about volunteering, please contact Brian Baker, Senior Director of Personnel, via email OR check out this thread on our forums! New events have been added to our tracks section as well! Make sure you give it a visit to start planning your great time at MTAC Infinity!
