um Doing a Blizzard panel with out Counting the WarCraft game counting WoW is not a good idea that and Diablo and all there other good games they have made. But why not even consider wow? They are ending WoW in Cataclysm. They ended the Frozen Thorn from warcraft three with Wrath Of The Lich King. There are story lines in side WoW witch are amazing, but answer me this master yoda what Blizzard games have you played?
There are 5 reasons:
1) Due to the nature of WOW, you either love it or hate it. For example, there are cases where it has ruined relationships and cost people their jobs.
2) In order to do any demo of WOW, one must be online and I rather not clog the Hotel's internet just for WOW.
3) As WOW has no definite end (unlike the other games), it is a lot harder to find a cut-off point for a demo.
4) As stated in 3, there is no definite end, as such WOW is such a huge game that it really should have a panel of it's own or be part of an MMORPG Panel.
5) The first volume of StarCraft II is coming out within the next few months leading up to GMX and, as such, it deserves some attention.
As for which games I have played, I have played Warcraft II and III, Lost Vikings (I forget which one), and StarCraft I. I own StarCraft I and Warcraft III. Warcraft II I borrowed from a friend a long time ago. As for WOW, I refuse to both pay for a game and pay to play it. This is nothing against Blizzard, just my beliefs on the MMORPG revenue system. As for Diablo, out of the three, Diablo has from what I have seen, gotten the least amount of attention, and deserves more. StarCraft has been out for over 10 years and is still going strong, while WarCraft III is also, still doing very well. Also, how can we not talk about the Blizzard game that never was, StarCraft Ghost, the game that was meant to mark Blizzard's entrance into the realm of console systems (if memory serves me right).
